HELLO, I’M NATALIYA KOVALCHUK

I am Attorney Nataliya Kovalchuk, LL.M, a Managing Attorney at Nataliya M. Kovalchuk and Associates. I work closely with each of my clients. I don’t use a buffer of assistants and associates. I pick my own phone, and I return my own messages and emails. I am easy to talk to, no matter the topic. And I have the experience and confidence you are looking for.

I have been practicing adoption law since 2010. I began my career as a professional translator mainly working with adoptive families during their adoption trip. At that time there were no lawyers specializing in inter-country adoption, since such adoption was new to Ukraine. Translators/interpreters had to help the families organize the whole adoption process. Having to deal with legal issues and adoption paperwork I realized there is a great need for lawyers specializing in adoption. Thus, in 2010 I have obtained a Master’s Degree from the Law School of T. Shevchenko National University in Kyiv city. Having knowledge of the laws of Ukraine, I still required knowledge of the foreign legislation, so I took courses on USCIS regulations, civil laws of the USA, England and Argentina. In 2013 I gathered a unique team of attorneys and translators, who specialize in civil, common and labor law. Our firm works closely with lawyers from the USA, Europe and South America to provide good care of their clients.
I am a graduate of Taras Shevchenko National University Law School (2010) and have a Master’s Degree in Jurisprudence/Law Science (LL.M). I am a graduate of the Zhytomyr State University, Faculty of Foreign Languages (2000), I have a MA Degree and I am a certified professional translator/interpreter of the English and German languages.
